You leave Marrakech heading south on the N8 toward Amizmiz. The city fades quickly – within 15 minutes, you're passing olive groves and small villages. Around the 20 km mark, the landscape shifts. The green disappears and a dry, stony plateau opens up – this is Agafay.
The main road is paved and well-maintained. But the last stretch to your camp is where it gets interesting. Most camps sit off unmarked dirt tracks, and GPS frequently sends visitors down the wrong path. Our drivers know the exact turnoffs, the seasonal track conditions, and which approach works best for each camp.
Conseil saisonnier : In summer (June–September), the Agafay heat is intense during the day. Most camps recommend arriving in late afternoon when the light is golden and the temperature drops. We'll time your pickup accordingly.

Most of it, yes. The main road toward Lalla Takerkoust is paved and in good condition. The last 3-5 km to your camp depends on which camp — some are on smooth gravel tracks, others on rougher dirt roads. Nothing that a standard car can't handle, and our drivers know which tracks to take.
