You leave Marrakech heading south on the N8 toward Amizmiz. The city fades quickly – within 15 minutes, you're passing olive groves and small villages. Around the 20 km mark, the landscape shifts. The green disappears and a dry, stony plateau opens up – this is Agafay.
The main road is paved and well-maintained. But the last stretch to your camp is where it gets interesting. Most camps sit off unmarked dirt tracks, and GPS frequently sends visitors down the wrong path.
