What to Expect

The A7 motorway is hands down the best road in Morocco. It's a proper European-standard divided highway with toll booths, rest stops, and excellent tarmac. The drive from Marrakech to Casablanca is straightforward, mostly flat, and very comfortable.

We run this route daily — mostly for business travelers and families catching flights at CMN Airport. The highway has multiple service areas if you need a coffee or bathroom break (we always stop if you ask).

Why not the train? The ONCF train is a good option for solo travelers. But if you're a group of 3-4 people, our transfer is the same price per person and we pick you up at your hotel instead of you having to get to the train station. Plus, no luggage limits and no fixed schedule.

Airport transfers: If your destination is Mohammed V Airport (CMN), we drop you at the departures terminal directly. The airport is about 30 km south of Casablanca city center, so it's actually closer to Marrakech — about 2h45 drive.

Is a Private Transfer from Marrakech to Casablanca Worth It?

It depends on your group size and priorities.

For solo travelers, the ONCF train is the best deal — about 200-300 MAD first class, comfortable seats, and the Al Boraq high-speed line has cut the journey to 2h40. You can't beat that for one person.

But trains have trade-offs: fixed schedules, station-to-station only (you need to get to Marrakech train station and then from Casa Voyageurs to your destination), luggage limits, and no flexibility on stops.

Where a private transfer wins:

  • Groups of 3-4: 125€ split 4 ways = ~31€/person. That's train-price with door-to-door service.
  • CMN Airport: No direct train to the airport. You'd need a train + taxi/shuttle. We drive directly to departures.
  • Early/late travel: Need to leave at 4am? No problem. Try finding a 4am train.
  • Luggage: Multiple suitcases, golf bags, surfboards — no limits, no extra fees.
  • Business travelers: Work in the car, make calls, arrive relaxed. The A7 is smooth enough for a laptop.

Bottom line: for 2+ people or anyone needing flexibility, our transfer is the smartest option. For solo budget travelers, the train is your friend.
