More FAQsOne of the shortest, most scenic hops we run. About 30 minutes up the Atlantic coast from Agadir to the surf village of Taghazout — cliffs and banana groves on one side, world-class point breaks on the other. One fixed price for the whole car, door to door, surfboards welcome.

What to Expect on This Route
The coast road north out of Agadir is an easy, mostly flat drive along the Atlantic. You leave the marina and the long Agadir beach behind, roll past the fishing coves at Aghroud, and pass through Tamraght and Aourir — the village everyone calls Banana Village for the banana groves tucked into the valley. About 30 minutes later the road curls into Taghazout itself.
It's a short trip, but a beautiful one. The Atlantic sits on your right the whole way, and on a clear afternoon you'll see surfers strung out along the breaks — Anchor Point, Panorama, Hash Point. If it's your first time on the coast, your driver can point out which beach is which as you pass.
Road conditions: The coastal road is paved and in good shape the whole way — no mountain switchbacks, no rough tracks. It's a relaxed half-hour drive that even nervous passengers find easy.
For surfers: Bring your boards. Our vehicles take board bags, and we drop you right at your surf camp, riad, or apartment — whether that's in central Taghazout, up at Taghazout Bay, or down in Tamraght. No wrestling boards off a crowded shared taxi.

Is a Private Transfer from Agadir to Taghazout Worth It?
For surfers and beach travelers: almost always yes.
It's a short, cheap ride, so the honest question is whether it's worth booking a private car at all instead of flagging down a shared grand taxi. For most travelers heading to Taghazout, it is — and here is why.
Where a private transfer becomes the easy call:
- Surfboards & bags: grand taxis charge by the seat and rarely want a board bag strapped on the roof — our price is for the whole car and your boards travel with you
- True door to door: we pick you up at your Agadir hotel, the marina, or the airport and drop you at your exact address in Taghazout or Tamraght, not a taxi rank on the main road
- Straight through, no waiting: shared grand taxis only leave once every seat is full — you leave the moment you're ready
- Groups & families: one fixed price for up to four (or a van for more), so friends and kids travel together in one comfortable car
- Late flights & dawn sessions: landing at night or chasing the early tide? We run on your schedule, not the taxi rank's
If you're solo, traveling light, and happy to wait for a shared taxi to fill up, a grand taxi will be cheaper — we won't pretend otherwise. But with boards, bags, or company, one fixed-price car door to door is the easy choice.
